Casual breakfasting through 11am, no lunch, they do serve dinner.
Just off the green (town common?) in Bar Harbor.
One of the orders for breakfast was the Green Eggs and Sam (omlette, spinach, calamata olives, feta cheese), and our server was named Sam, born on March 2, same birthday as Dr. Seuss. Window seat, restaurant logo replicated in yellow framework hanging from ceiling.

Dennett's Wharf, Castine, Maine
Dennett's Wharf in Castine Maine is on the same waterfront as the Maine Maritime Academy.
Yes it's a drive but if you are in the area definitely worth a drop in.

bluehill mussels, clams, smoked fish samplers, and haddock sandwich (by the way many white fiish in New England are generically referred to as "scrod" or "schrod" mostly cod or haddock) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrod
